GOOD OLD DAYS Episode 1

Just turned a few hundred pages of my life and I found myself holding my mother’s arms, waiting to write the entrance exam for grade 2 at Kendhriya Vidhyalaya. My dream school. I still remember the exam had major questions on hindi and English. The test results were announced in a week and I got through. My parents were so proud and I was so very happy. Oow at last I was getting out of that temporary hell which was St. Joseph School. Coming to think, it's so unfair to call the entire school as hell coz the original hell was my tamil class and the hell master was my tamil teacher, oh then I must say mistress!!! Poor little me, till that time I was brought up in northern part of India and the only means I learnt tamil was what my parents spoke at home. We suddenly got moved to south India due to an unexpected personal tragedy (I lost my darling brother—Pls no hard feelings, lets move on). Hmmm I had joined in the middle of the term, so there I was left in a complete confusion. I was completely lousy at tamil. To add fuel to my tamil teachers burning stomach, I was good at every other subject except her. Due to this she use to get screwed by the principal motti… That stupid woman never understood that it was not my fault and thus I lost my interest to learn that beautiful language. I regret now. U know what it’s never late to learn anything. Annnnnd now coming back to my dream school KV. It was located inside the air force station and was quite near from where I use to live. It was fun waiting for bus and chatting with new friends, sweet time hmm!!! Mom’s office was very close to my school bus stop, so I use to run into her place to trouble her. It was a company which manufactured mat and packing materials like plastic covers, strips and nylon ropes. It was quite huge and green place. I use to run around and see people at work. My mom’s job was to maintain the accounts and so on. She opted for this job just to put her thoughts away from my brother. I got good opportunity to see how mats were created. Cool na…. Back in my school I had many pretty days and made lot of friends. Though I don’t remember my first day at school, I can never forget my friends’ name. So there is lot to talk about neha, nithya, geethanjali, andriya, karthik, Antonio, geethu, the twin swathi and preethi, bubbly swathi, gokul and many more…. These are the ppl who made me realize the wonders of friendship… Since I have got lot to talk about them.. Rest in my next post…
My dreams will continue…
